Great in His Eyes

We read in 2 Nephi 3 the words that Father Lehi taught to his son, Joseph.  He quotes their great ancestor, Joseph who was sold into Egypt.  The Lord promised great blessings to Joseph, and told him of a prophet, his descendant, who would come in the latter days.  This prophet would do the Father's work in bringing forth the Book of Mormon and establishing His church.

Then the Lord says to Joseph, " And I will make him great in mine eyes; for he shall do my work." 2 Nephi 3:8

Couldn't this promise also apply to us?  As we do the Lord's work in teaching and ministering to His children, He will bless us and make us great in His eyes.  What a promise!
